House plans on site in a timber framed new build, planning the heating and cooling

Designed around the way you live

A great system starts long before installation. We work with you, your architect and your builder at the planning stage, so heating, cooling and ventilation are designed into the home rather than added on later.

The result is even temperatures in every room, discreet grilles instead of bulky wall units, and running costs that make sense.

What we design and install

Ducted heat pumps

Heats and cools the entire house through discreet ceiling or floor grilles, with the unit hidden away.

Multi-room systems

One outdoor unit running several indoor units, each room with its own temperature.

Fresh air ventilation

Balanced ventilation with heat recovery, such as Mitsubishi Electric Lossnay, for drier, healthier air without losing warmth.

Hot water heat pumps

Efficient hot water as part of the same package.

Smart controls

Zone control and Wi-Fi apps, so you can heat or cool the house before you get home.

We install leading brands, chosen for reliability, quiet operation and strong New Zealand support.

Common questions

Can’t see your question? Call (09) 379 8301 or get in touch.

What is a ducted heat pump, and is it right for my home?

A ducted heat pump heats and cools the whole house from one hidden indoor unit, delivering air through discreet ceiling or floor grilles. It suits new builds and major renovations with space for ductwork in the ceiling or under the floor. We’ll check your plans or home and tell you honestly whether ducted or a multi-room system is the better fit.

When should we involve you in a new build or renovation?

As early as possible, ideally at the design stage. That lets us plan duct routes, grille positions and the outdoor unit location with your architect and builder, which gives a neater result and avoids costly changes later.

Can you control each room separately?

Yes. Zoned ducted systems and multi-room systems let you set different temperatures in different areas, and turn off rooms you’re not using to save energy.

Do I need a ventilation system as well as a heat pump?

A heat pump heats and cools the air already in the house. A ventilation system such as Mitsubishi Electric Lossnay brings in fresh, filtered air and removes stale, damp air while recovering heat. In modern, well sealed homes, the two work best together.

Can I control the system from my phone?

Yes. Most systems we install can be fitted with Wi-Fi control, so you can switch on, adjust temperatures and set schedules from an app wherever you are.

How long does installation take?

It depends on the system and the stage of the build. A multi-room system in an existing home often takes a few days. Ducted systems in new builds are installed in stages alongside the build. We’ll give you a timeline with your quote.

How often should my system be serviced?

We recommend a service once a year to keep it efficient, quiet and within warranty conditions.

Which areas do you cover?

We’re based in Avondale and work across Auckland.
